TechniData ENVINET

You know that a clean environment is vital. And you're prepared to live up to your responsibility to future generations. So you need up-to-date, accurate information that will provide a solid basis for your decision-making. ENVINET from TechniData gives you this information and delivers complete systems from a single source - taking in everything from the sensor to the data logger and the central monitoring network.

When it comes to environmental monitoring, companies, institutions and public bodies put their faith in ENVINET monitoring systems. Worldwide, more than 3,500 TechniData measuring stations are in operation for online radioactivity monitoring alone. Stationary and mobile measuring stations collect the relevant environmental data on radioactivity, air, water and meteorology. But ENVINET can do more: it collects, interprets, and evaluates the data, then prepares it for your analyses, reports and presentations.

ENVINET supports you by providing:

  • State-of-the-art, high-quality sensors
  • Optimized data loggers for the application
  • Standardized software solutions for the central monitoring networks

To make the right decisions, you need sound knowledge. TechniData's ENVINET provides the facts - you provide the expertise. Together we're working towards a clean environment that safeguards the quality of life for all of us.

Benefits

To ensure effective environmental, precise measuring of all data is just as important as thorough examination, sensible processing, and clear presentation. TechniData’s all-in-one solution ENVINET provides you with all the necessary devices, programs, and services. The following aspects of these scalable systems are particularly impressive:

  • Remote configuration: All key settings of the measuring devices and the options for saving and transmitting measured data can be adjusted remotely.
  • Centralized control: Instead of reconfiguring each device separately, changes to measuring regulations can be entered simultaneously for all measuring stations within the network. Alternatively,
it is, of course, possible to make changes to individual stations as well.
  • High degree of automization: From the measuring to the evaluation that’s ready to go for presentation – ENVINET is fully automated, while also being reliable and operating consistently – all based on your individual guidelines and needs.
  • Minimal downtime: TechniData’s hardware is highly reliable, and its robust design makes it invulnerable against mechanical strains or weather-related influences. As a result, the cost for maintenance and service is minimized.
  • High availability: Depending on customer preference, top-level data protocolling systems transmit the measuring data via radio, phone lines, GSM, ISDN, or satellite to the monitoring center.

TechniData supports your environmental monitoring with a full-service offering based on premier hardware, advanced software, and years of experience. That’s how modern technology and responsible action can prevent risks and dangers.

Solution Areas TechniData’s ENVINET is the solution for evaluating data provided by modern environmental measuring systems. It merges the data and processes them for clear and comprehensible presentations in tables, graphics, and reports.

ENVINET serves as a platform for the following application areas:

Radioactivity:

For the environmental monitoring of radioactivity, TechniData provides networks for national-level monitoring and ring systems for the monitoring of individual nuclear facilities. You get it all from one hand: the sensor, the data logger, and the measuring network center

Air:

The monitoring of air quality parameters – take immision and emission data, for example – is an important tool monitoring of air quality. The possible pollutions can take on many different forms. That’s why some thorough and broad effort is required when measuring the parameters, such as carbondioxide, nitrogen or ozone concentration in the air. ENVINET records the values of these parameters, then analyzes and evaluates the measured data.

Water:

Responsible water management is among the most crucial tasks for the federal states, municipalities, and businesses. Automatic systems for water and wastewater management secure the drinking-water supply for the population, as well as the proper handling of wastewater. In addition, flood-warning systems help prevent disasters.

Meteorology:

To interpret environmental data, you need reliable information on the weather situation, as climatic conditions directly impact the environmental parameters. Strong sun fuels the development of ozone, consisting of nitrogen oxides and oxygen; wind speeds and wind direction influence the air quality in a region. Employing ENVINET, users can, at all time, integrate the meteorological information into the measuring networks.

Only the careful processing of data generated in environmental monitoring prevents misinterpretations and provides a basis for accurate decisions. With ENVINET, however, you have all risks under control.
