Jürgen Schwab, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Jürgen Schwab, one of TechniData's four founding members, has served as the Chairman of the Board since TechniData became an incorporation (AG) in 2000. As Chairman, he is responsible for the company's global strategy and its business development. Jürgen Schwab holds a degree in computer science.

Thomas Wienke, Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Thomas Wienke started his professional career at TechniData as a software developer. From 1996 until 2000 he was co-responsible for the development of our business area Environment, Health and Safety. In 2000 he was appointed to the management and was in charge of the EH&S product and project development. From 2004 on, Thomas Wienke took on the responsibility for the coordination of the Operational Areas (Lines of Business). In January 2006 he was appointed member of the Executive Board. In this position, he heads the areas Production and Technology.

Dr. Thomas Wrede, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Dr. Thomas Wrede was appointed as TechniData's Chief Financial Officer in October 2001. In that capacity, he is in charge of Finance, Human Resources and Administration. In his previous position, he served as the CFO of itelligence AG. Dr. Thomas Wrede holds a doctor of economics from the University of Cologne.

TechniData America LLC - Executive Board

Peter Hug - CEO and President

With more than 10 years experience in different executive leadership roles with TechniData, Peter Hug took the position as Executive Vice President at TechniData America and transferred to the United States in January 2003. As EVP he was responsible for business development, sales, partner relations, and coordination with TechniData's German headquarters. Since July 2005 Peter Hug has held the position as the President of TechniData America LLC, and in January 2006 he also assumed the role of CEO. He holds a University Diploma in Computer Science with Theoretical Medicine from the Technichal University of Munich, Germany.

Peggy Jones Swalwell - Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Peggy Swalwell has a Masters Degree in earth sciences and is one of the start-up members of TechniData America. Her career spans more than 25 years of experience with emphasis on integration of environmental, health and safety issues into core business processes for the chemical, pharmaceutical, and utility industries. She has served TechniData America as Consulting Director, COO, and since January, 2006, has responsibility for Finance, Human Resource, Internal IT and Administration within TechniData America.
